Shannon’s career has spanned the globe, with strategic leadership roles in both the non-profit and private sectors. She brings extraordinary expertise in, and passion for, leadership, organizational culture, customized executive coaching, and communications from a cross-cultural perspective with a focus on cultivating optimism and empowering others.
Shannon grew up in Ontario, Canada in Lake Country. From an early age, she brought an ambitious spirit to her interests, and competitive athletics shaped her early life as a national level swimmer, waterski instructor and trained firefighter.
Shannon has led large projects worldwide across multiple industries. Organizations include the International Association of Lung Cancer, the Asia Pacific Association for International education, International Baccalaureate, the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers and Simon Fraser University.
Michelle’s pursuits have revolved around the fields of communication and education. She has a high degree of skill teaching in complex environments in classes that have included a wide range of abilities and cultures.
Working with adults and children at various times throughout her career, Michelle continues to facilitate growth and positive change through her teaching and coaching.
Growing up in Ontario in a large family taught her the value of having a strong team! She has lived and travelled throughout Europe and the USA and calls Vancouver, BC home. The mountains inspire her and passion to share her knowledge with others motivates her.
